The National Weather Service issued the first tornado watch for Colorado this year.The watch will remain in place for several counties along the Eastern Plains until 11 p. [...] With the planet heating up, many scientists seem fairly certain some weather elements like hurricanes and droughts will worsen. But tornadoes have them stumped. [...] After a week of scattered rain, hail, mudslides and a report of a funnel cloud on the Front Range, weather should calm down Friday in the metro area. [...] Art festival patrons in Breckenridge were awe-struck by a weather event Sunday that flung a stage tent the size of a living room the length of a city block and dealt damage to other tents holding expensive art.
